On the inside, proCube™ V8 boosts querying performance to enable larger and more complex data volumes that return quicker business answers. On the outside, the newly designed proCube™ Management Studio interface adopts Microsoft’s Ribbon interface technology while incorporating the data designer and server administrator into a single application.

And since proCube™ V8 drives Satori Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting, those applications also run faster.

Increased performance

proCube™ V8’s 64-bit architecture, developed on Windows x64 platform, speeds up memory access for queries by taking memory directly from working space, using it, and then returning it for the next query. For large data sets, proCube™ V8 emphasizes areas with data and suppresses those that don’t have data, i.e., areas that contain zero data. This optimized query engine lets you apply multiple stacked dimensions that answer business questions much faster and with more intelligence, and it obsoletes any problems associated with scalability. Within a single report, proCube™ V8 lets you create relational-style views within a multi-dimensional database, thus enabling you to view data across multiple, stacked dimensions.

New proCube™ Management Studio

proCube™ Management Studio is a data designer and a server administrator. Once you have managed your servers, you can connect to multiple databases, create slices, and browse your data all from a single interface. The data designer lets you query infinite data, display multiple slices, and zoom slice data to quickly find information in larger queries.

Excel Integration

proCube’s™ seamless integration with Excel 2007 includes a ribbon interface that replaces menus and toolbars with commands organized in logical groups and collected together under tabs. Each tab relates to a type of activity, such as working with slices. And to reduce clutter, some tabs are shown only when needed.
