CapEx Budget Reports

The one section under Cap Ex Budget Reports  is CapEx Reports. Select CapEx Budget Reports to display the section. Each report displays as a blue hyperlink - click to open.

CapEx Reports section

CapEx Reports is comprised of three reports: Approval Report, Asset Report and Depreciation Schedule.

Approval Report

The Approval Report displays all Approved or Non-approved Capital Expenditures.

  1. From the CapEx Reports menu select Approval Report.

  2. Under Current Version are four radio buttons. Select one of the following:

  1. From the Office drop-down, select the Office to display.

  2. From the Practice Group drop-down, select the Practice Group to display.

  3. From the Conversion Type drop-down, select a conversion type. The Approval Report displays.

Budget Year and Current Version display on the left hand side and are pulled from the information entered on the Configuration screen.

Located at the top left-hand side of the screen are two menu items:

This report uses an OLAPPivot and accesses the New Assets cube. The dimensions used from the New Assets cube are: Version, Year, Office, PG Dept, Asset drop-down , Month, Depreciation Measures and Line Items.

Asset Report

The Asset Report displays all Assets, whether Budgeted or Projected.

  1. From the CapEx Reports menu select Asset Report.

  2. Select either Budgeted or Projected.

  3. From the Office drop-down, select the Office to display.

  4. From the Practice Group drop-down, select the Practice Group to display.

  5. From the Conversion Type drop-down, select a conversion type. The Asset Report displays.

If Budgeted is selected, all Budgeted Capital Expenditures whether approved or not display up to and including the current month. If Projected is selected, only the Current Year Capital Expenditures proceeding the current month displays. Budget Year and Current Version display on the left-hand side and are pulled from the information entered on the Configuration screen.

Depreciation Schedule

Depreciation Schedule displays Asset Version (New Assets, Projected Assets, Current Assets, Adjustment to Depreciation and Total Assets) for Asset drop-down by Office and Practice Group. Only approved Budgeted Capital Expenditures display.

  1. From the CapEx Reports menu select Depreciation Schedule.

  2. From the Office drop-down, select Office to display.

  3. From the Practice Group drop-down, select the Practice Group to display.

  4. Use the Conversion Type drop-down to specify the desired conversion type. The Depreciation Schedule displays.

Located at the top left-hand side of the screen are four menu items:

This input screen uses an OLAPPivot and accesses and modifies the Depreciation Schedule cube. The dimensions used from the Depreciation Schedule cube are: Version, Year, Office, Practice Group, Month, Depreciation Schedule Measures, and Asset drop-down. Listed in the Columns is the Month, listed in the Rows is Depreciation Measures and Asset drop-down and the remaining dimensions are listed in the Page.
